Conference bookings

Attendance at all conference sessions is on a first-come, first served basis. Doors open to all sessions 15 minutes before the advertised start time.

To minimise disruption, late entry to sessions cannot be guaranteed. Delegates are not permitted to leave sessions before the end of questions unless strictly necessary.

The main Conference Pass sessions in the Auditorium, Theatre 2, Theatre 3 and Theatre 4 may only be attended by conference delegates holding a Conference Pass blue badge and speakers holding a red badge. The following workshops in Room 5 are also only available to Conference Pass holders: Thur 16.45, Fri 16.45 and Sat 14.00.

Training essentials theatre sessions, Demonstration theatre sessions and the Innovation Zone may be attended by any badge-holder, including Exhibition Pass visitors.

Conference registration fees include attendance at the Presidential Meeting, access to all Conference Pass sessions, refreshments on the day(s) you have paid for and a delegate bag. Fees exclude overnight accommodation and meals. Entry to the exhibition, Training essentials theatre sessions, Demonstration theatre sessions, access to the Innovation Zone and Exhibition hall drinks reception are free.

On acceptance of your booking, a confirmation email and receipt will be sent to you. Joining instructions will be EMAILED to all confi rmed attendees from four weeks prior to the event, with the exception of those who have not paid. All badges, any social tickets and a delegate bag will be available on site.

  • Bookings online will be accepted until midday on Wednesday 24 April 2013.

One-day Conference and Exhibition ticket free for all BDA members

  • BDA members may not book two one-day tickets in order to receive two days for free. A maximum of one-day only may be booked via this offer. Additional conference days will be charged at the 2 / 3 day rates. Additional exhibition-only days however may be booked for free.
  • BDA member dentists taking advantage of the free one-day offer may not take advantage of the bring a DCP for free offer.
  • The offer is not applicable to FDs/VDPs/DF1s.
  • FD Advisers who are BDA members may either take advantage of the free one-day ticket for BDA members, or the Band 4 FD Advisers who are BDA member’s rate for a 2 or 3 day ticket
  • BDA members taking advantage of the free one-day ticket would still be entitled to an allocation of refreshment vouchers for the day that is booked.
  • Free tickets are only available to those that are BDA members from the time of booking up until and including the dates of the British Dental Conference and Exhibition (cancellation of membership during this period forfeits your right to a free ticket).
  • If joining the BDA from November 2012, membership must be maintained continuously for the remainder of the membership year, if you have taken up the opportunity of a free ticket.
  • Limited availability is due to the venue capacity restrictions.

Free DCP conference ticket with every dentist booking

  • Every dentist attending the conference for 2-3 days in Bands 1 and 2 is entitled to a complimentary place for one DCP from their practice or place of work for each day of their attendance.
  • Dentists taking advantage of this offer may bring a different DCP for each day of their ticket.
  • Non-member dentists in Band 1 attending for one day may also bring a DCP for free.
  • BDA member dentists taking advantage of the free one-day offer may not take advantage of the bring a DCP for free offer.
  • Delegates attending as part of this offer must be booked at the same time.
  • Additional DCPs may attend at the advertised rates.
  • The offer is not applicable to BDA Student members or Foundation Dentists/VDPs/DF1s.
  • FD Advisers who are BDA members may either take advantage of the free one-day ticket for BDA members, or the Band 4 FD Advisers who are BDA member’s rate for a 2 or 3 day ticket.
  • Limited availability is due to the venue capacity restrictions.

Booking and payment conditions

Payment for the conference MUST be received in advance. Any delegates with payments outstanding upon their arrival at the conference will be asked to supply their personal credit card details as a guarantee of payment. The card details will only be debited if payment has not been received by Friday 3 May 2013.

Cancellation policy

In the event of cancellation received in writing no later than Thursday 28 March 2013, the fee will be returned less 25% to cover administrative expenses. After that date, no refunds will be possible. Substitutions may be made at any time.

Photographer

Please note that for promotional purposes, there will be a professional photographer present throughout the event, at the conference, the exhibition and at the social events.
