The British Dental Conference and Exhibition is more than just a conference programme and an exhibition – the social events cannot be missed!
Delegates celebrated the opening day of the BDA’s flagship conference and exhibition. It was a great time to wind down at the end of day one and continue to talk to exhibitors, catch up with colleagues and enjoy the buzz of the fantastic exhibition.
This year’s ball for newly qualified dentists was held at The Brewery in the heart of the City of London. The former Whitbread brewery was completely transformed with a fire and ice theme. All enjoyed a glass of bubbly in the King George III room (named after his visit in 1787) before heading to the Porter Tun for a three course dinner and entertainment.

This year’s Friday night party was held at the Fox Bar, a converted tobacco warehouse located right next to ExCeL, where all were able to enjoy two free drinks, a buffet and entertainment from the fantastic live disco band Uncle Funk.
The Crowne Plaza Docklands was the venue for this year’s Gala dinner, with its floor to ceiling windows which boasted spectacular views of the Royal Docks, Canary Wharf and the O2. The event was the perfect way to end the event in style. Guests enjoyed a drink at the pre-dinner reception and relaxed over a three course meal with friends and colleagues.
